Blue Dog Power Sweepers was originally started by R-1 Snow Removal and was purchased by Jeremie & Alison Elliott in 2007. Jeremie's parents have been maintenancing parking lots for over ten years and Jeremie shares their dedication and attention to detail.  Jeremie and Alison grew up in Truckee and are now raising their family there. About Our Equipment

We now have two sweepers available to you.  The first is our Schwarze S348I sweeper, the most popular model of parking area air sweepers. It comes standard with the powerful auxiliary engine and is the top performing sweeper in its class. It has plenty of power for any type of parking area cleaning, as well as for some construction cleanup situations.  It is also the ideal choice in areas where noise is a problem because it can sweep at the same level of effectiveness as the S347I, but at a lower rpm level. In line with the other S-series sweepers which are mounted onto a cabover chassis, the S348I may be fitted with our Hushkit™ noise reduction shroud.

The S348I's sweeping power is generated via a regenerative air flow system which is uniquely effective in picking up both small particles and larger debris pieces. In this system, a portion of the air is vented off, which results in a larger volume of air being pumped.

The blast and suction is generated by a 10-bladed radial turbine fan. The air is channeled through a rubber-lined fan housing and then back through the sweeper's powerful pickup head. Both the blast and the intake tubes of the S348I are 10 inches in diameter.

A special option available only on the S348I is the Windrow Broom, which is located at the front of the sweeper. This broom moves debris toward the intake tube part of the sweeping head, which increases sweeping effectiveness in heavy debris situations. Because of the hydraulic extra power needed to operate the windrow broom, it is available only on the S348I machines.

The Schwarze S348I sweeper has as standard equipment the Schwarze-exclusive WhisperWheelsm fan system that reduces air sweeper noise by over 70%, while increasing power 7% and decreasing sweeper fuel usage by 20%. The Schwarze S348I sweeper has also been designated by the South Coast Air Quality Management District as Rule 1186 Certified for its ability to pick up and contain small-micron material.

Like all of our 3 yard sweepers, the S348I has a sweeping width of 90 inches. The S348I has a dumping height of 67 inches, 7 inches higher than the conventional chassis mounted S343 series sweepers. Debris dumping is accomplished by the use of a 12-volt hydraulic system and is outfitted with Schwarze's exclusive Double Draggin Skidssm that are highly reflective, provide longer wear and have a host of other advantages.
